Rotary clubs provide an efficient and enjoyable way to do community service, fitting service neatly into busy lives.  Most Rotarians serve their community from within their local Rotary club. Those wishing to become further involved can find service and leadership opportunities at the Rotary District level or even the International level.

St. Paul Sunrise Rotary Club is in Rotary District 5960 (www.rotary5960.org), which includes southeastern Minnesota and parts of western Wisconsin.  Rotary clubs are found internationally (www.rotary.org) and have worldwide goals, such as eradicating polio .

Most Rotarians belong to a Rotary club which is near where they live and/or work.  The St. Paul Sunrise Rotary Club also has members who live across the river (Minneapolis) and in various Twin City suburbs.  Most Rotarians became interested in Rotary in the first place because of knowing a Rotarian, although it is not necessary to know a Rotarian in order to get to know a club and be invited to join.  You are welcome to visit meetings of Rotary clubs to see what you think.  You will find that Rotarians will make you feel at home at their club meetings.

Of course we would like for you to be interested in our club (information below), but if the location is not handy for you, you could find a club closer to where you live and/or work.  A list of Rotary clubs can be found  at www.rotary.org.  Click on "Club Locator" in the upper right-hand corner.  On the Club Locator page, enter only the name of the town/city that you are interested in for finding a Rotary club.
