We
are business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs giving back to our
community through Rotary International.
We
usually meet weekly for a breakfast meeting on Thursdays at 7:30 am
.
We meet
at the Town & Country Club at Marshall and Otis in St. Paul,
Minnesota.
Several
times each year, the St. Paul Sunrise Rotary also hosts social gatherings, such as
holiday parties, ball games, picnics, for members
and families.

Change of Gavel
&
Service Above Self Award
"Service Above Self" award,
for 2009 - 2010, was presented to Steve Baker by President Ellen,
at the June 24th Change
of Gavel ceremony
in which Ellen also handed the gavel over to Steve, the new President.

Inductee!

member, was recently inducted into the Paul Harris Society in recognition of
his diligent and beneficial work on behalf of the Rotary Foundation.

Hosts Rotary Ambassador
Scholar from South Korea
The St. Paul Sunrise Rotary Club has been local
Rotary host for Woori, Rotary Ambassador Scholar from South Korea. Woori
arrived on Friday, July 17th, 2009 and attended the English Language Study
program located on the campus of St Thomas University, then returned to South
Korea on January 12th, 2010. He is pictured here with
President Ellen and District Governor Newell Krogmann.

Bell
A bell was sadly
lacking at our Sunrise meetings, so Dave spearheaded the effort to obtain a new
bell, which
was purchased in November 2009!

Gordon Parks High School
Student of the Month Program
A student is selected each month by faculty, on the
basis of achievement and improvement.
The student is awarded a certificate at a sunrise Rotary meeting and speaks to
the group.
